Subject: [msgs] muggings in davis sq.

An unfortunate report in from the northern front: There were several (2 to 5) muggings and assaults/beatings in the Davis Square area last night. [Tuesday May 4] Three men (race uncertain) in hooded sweatshirts. At least one happened on
College Ave (w/knife) and one near the bike path on Howard Street.

Please be careful going home, try not to walk alone after dark. The Somerville Police Department's number is (617) 625-1600.

Can anyone substantiate this?
