Once again, if I left something out, I apologize. I think this includes everything that was mentioned. Wang's was 1.1 miles from the square so to be consistent in methodology it didn't make the cut.

I'm going to be away from the computer from 9 till around 10:30am.

Yeah, Wang’s. Sorry I didn’t suggest it on your previous post; I was running late.

I measured, but I don't see a way to make make Wang's a (street) mile away from the center of the Square, so I presume that was why it was left off. A number of folks suggested it.

if they deliver to Davis square they should be on the list. Your one mile boundary is meaningless.

Fine FINE it's EVER SO SLIGHTLY over a mile, but a five min walk from Yummy Hut, which sucks.

The only real Chinese food is found in San Francisco.

I just wanted to say that Taipei Tokyo has disapointed me with their Chinese food. Their sushi is good though.

Why is a one mile boundary meaningless for a poll called "What is your favorite Chinese food place located within a mile of Davis Square"? You are free to create your own poll called "What is your favorite Chinese food place that delivers to my dawghaus"

Yummy Hut does serve hot garbage, it is true.

I had really good Chinese food in China. Except they didn't call it Chinese food there. Just food.

I had a similar experience with a standoff in Mexico.

I've never tried Wang's before, but after all the good press these last two days, I am going to give 'em a try. =)

cuz it is stupid spaz. why does it matter whether they are 1 mile or 1.1 miles if they deliver?

from the comments I have seen, a lot of folks like Wang's, but they are not represented in the poll.

I don't think it's meaningless. How about "within a reasonably-paced 20-minute walk from Davis Square"?

It's all hot garbage, compared to Wang's.

False advertising! Not yummy! Not a hut!

Maybe their marketing team thought Garbage Hovel didn't have enough pizazz.

Agreed.

And hey... isn't that about a mile?

I gotta agree. I thought these polls would be fun, but it seems not enough people in this community can just vote without bitching, EVEN WHEN THEY ARE GIVEN THE CHANCE THE DAY BEFORE TO PRE-BITCH ALL THEY WANT. Let's just kill the polls and go back to arguing about font size, lj-cut, and burritos.

So vote "None of the above" and shut up. Or create your own poll and shut up. but just shut up.
