I am in desperate need of a roommate and hoping to find one very soon.
Preferably a female roommate but will accept males too.
To move in September 1, 2002…

Location: Brighton, off Commonwealth Ave.
Cost: $850/month
Move In: September 1st - the lease is for one year but we can talk about that
Rooms: My bedroom, a huge living room, big hallway, huge kitchen, good sized bathroom and what would be your room, which is spacious and a little bit smaller than mine (10x10feet-your room, 10x12-my room)
Amenities Included: Heat and Hot Water
Bills Per Months: Electric, Phone, DSL (if you want to use it) - I can give more detailed prices to those who Email about the costs (see bottom for Email address)
Transportation/MBTA: 1 minute walk to the Washington Street stop on the B Line (Green Line)


Other GREAT Features: VERY Sunny, hardwood floors, ground floor apartment (convenient for moving), 3 HUGE closets for storage/clothes/etc, DSL account and wires that go into your bedroom, great neighborhood (quiet, lots of families, very calm and mellow surroundings), laundry facility in building, clean apartment building, reliable mail delivery, 10 minutes to nearest grocery store, parking available, trash dumpsters in the back of the building, a 5 minute walk to St. Elizabeth's Hospital, corner store and pharmacy down the street, Bread & Circus right down the street, a café/diner, pizza place, & Chinese food restaurant all about 1 minute away.


The whole apartment is furnished with my furniture (living room & kitchen) except what would be your room. I have 2 huge couches in the living room, a huge comfy chair & ottoman, nice carpet, 2 tables, bookcase for movies, TV stand, and there's a storage closet in there.
The kitchen has my table and 2 chairs in it. 2 rugs, fridge, microwave, garbage disposal & dishwasher.


Your room has 2 huge windows, big closet with mirrors for doors, tons of power outlets, white painted walls, heat vents on the bases of the floor.

Stuff you should know about me:
I have a cat. He's very small, has short hair and is very clean.
I don't party - no smoking, no drinking & no drugs. No loud parties.
I am an undergrad student and work pretty much full time.
I am neat and clean.
I'm a responsible roommate, but fun too.
I'm 19 and go to Suffolk University.
I love to go to shows, watch TV, go on adventures, take walks around the Common, chat and hang out, watch movies, listen to tunes, cook, go to the midnight movie at Fenway, and read.
I'm pretty low key, my life isn't super exciting, but I love to have fun and rock-n-roll.

Anyone is welcome to come visit the apartment and check out the place before making any commitments. I'd love to meet anyone interested.


I only ask 3 things of a roommate: 1) pay rent on time 2) being respectful/mindful of privacy and quietness and 3) no big parties. I will be mindful of all the same for you as well..
