UPDATE--Chloe has returned!
Jun. 8th, 2008 10:19 pmSee post from 6/11/08.
I live closer to Porter than Davis, but I'm hoping someone on here can help. My indoor cat escaped from my Cedar Street apartment early this morning and I haven't seen her since. She is a 2-year-old brown tabby named Chloe. She's wearing a red collar and has a tag on. She has an extra two on each of her front paws. I'm really worried about her being outside in this heat, so I'd be VERY grateful if anyone who has spotted her could let me know. Thanks

Date: 2008-06-09 02:33 am (UTC)The heat probably won't be a problem for her, on its own. Cats run hotter than people do, and are more efficient about using water. But she might have decided to lay low through the hottest hours, so now that the sun has gone down, it's a good time to go looking. Might want to put down a bowl of water too, in case she comes back when you're not around looking for her.
