Local asbestos inspectors?
Jun. 20th, 2008 10:12 amDoes anybody have any asbestos inspectors that they'd recommend? I've found a number of listings via google but very little in the way of reviews or recommendations.
The reason I'm looking for one is that there are a couple of projects I would normally do myself, but I would like to be sure that I wouldn't be disturbing anything that shouldn't be disturbed before starting on them. There are also a couple of places where I'm pretty sure asbestos is present and I would like to get a more formal opinion about whether it would be best to let it lie or remove it.
I did find the MA site on the subject, but it wasn't extremely helpful.
If you have any recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, if you have been through the inspection process and/or the removal process and don't mind saying how much either of them wound up costing, that would be really helpful.
