Hi. I'm new to Davis and need a dentist. I need quite a bit of work done, the problem is I am terrified of the dentist (the fear has kept me from seeing one for far to long, hence the lots of work needed). I heard of sedation dentistry and was wondering if anyone could recommend o dentist who uses this technique? Thanks!

on this subject, where is there a super cheap but not sketchy dentist around here? grr on state-mandated overpriced health insurance which includes nothing :P

I like Dr Loren Wilson, at 2331 Mass Ave. He's straight-forward, doesn't lie to you, and doesn't do painful/expensive work that doesn't need to be done.

Dr. Lina Al-Aswad in Teele is great. I hadn't been to a dentist in a bunch of years before I went to her a few years ago, and she didn't make me feel like a criminal for it. She has a good friendly manner but also will tell you straight up what the deal is and what you have to do. Also, the oral surgeon and periodontist she referred me to were also great.

Dr. Casey Cook is the best dentist in the universe. I can't even imagine what going to the dentist was like before I started going to his office.

Dr Leonard Tom is awesome. He's in fresh pond at 545 Concord Ave, Suite 7 and his number is Ph: 617-547-2990

I don't think he practices sedative techniques but he is very funny, charming and caring. His staff is pretty awesome as well.

I will say avoid dental arts in davis like the plague (though to be far I think the dentist I saw there left many years ago)
