Roofer

A friend of mine is looking for a roofer (preferably affiliated with a mason for doing chimney work).

They are not part of this community, but I will forward along to her the link to this post so she can see any recommendations.

Anyway have a local roofer to recommend?

BTW, looking at the tags, I saw this post but I'll certainly take any more recommendations especially for those who do mason work as well.

Roof Doctor repaired a brick chimney as well as re-roofing a shingle roof for me, and I think they did an OK job (too acrophobic to go up on the peaked roof and inspect it close-up, but it looked fine from the ground).

No roofing recommendations, but i HIGHLY recommend Complete Chimney and George out of Stoughton. They do amazing work, are fair, both in price and in work needed, and are all around great people. They did some fantastic work at our new house in Watertown. If you call them, I bet they'd also have a good lead on a roofer, since they see that kind of work up close and personal.
