I need strawberries and rhubarb for pie for Friday, and had been planning to get them from the farmer's market this afternoon; however, I don't need to tell people what the weather is like.
Are there vendors present still? Has anyone been by recently and can tell me if I will find either of them there if I go by at around 5?
(either that or where there will be a farmer's market tomorrow that maybe I could get to hopefully before tomorrow's inevitable monsoon)

Date: 2008-07-02 10:15 pm (UTC)Re the Mass Farmers Market website (massfarmersmarkets.org), it appears to be hacked at the moment. Off the top of my head, the markets I remember happening tomorrow are the ones near Kendall Square and Coolidge Corner. If you can't make it to the limited hours of the Kendall market tomorrow (I think it's like 11:30-2 or something crazy short like that), the Brookline market is worth the trek, and is one of my favorites. They'll definitely have strawberries, though they may not have rhubarb.

The strawberries, however, are at their best. And the cherries at Kimball Farms....wow!
