Yup! Apparently they pick a few Holiday Mondays a year to be free.

Alas, I didn't get this before I went and I didn't see the bust anyway...for me the Egyptian section is impossibly appealing ;)...and I was with a friend of mine who's really into Japan, so we saw that too...and the Gauguin...by which point we were pretty much totally museumed out.
