Rota Temporis
Jul. 23rd, 2008 02:55 pmMy friend works at Express and she told me those crazy Italians stopped in and told her they'd be playing in Union Square tonight but didn't know where. Has anyone heard anything similar/does anyone have a reasonable guess of where they might be headed? We wanna check them out again....

I saw that DSLJ was discussing Rota Temporis, and I wanted to pass along this from Joe’s Somerville Journal blog:
“By now you may have heard that the Italian Medieval Celtic band Rota Temporis was a monster hit at ArtBeat – and I’m very happy to announce that they’ll also be at the Precinct in Union Square tonight (Wednesday) for an evening set that will get under way around 8 p.m. They’ll also be playing the back room of the Burren tomorrow night at 8, and will make an appearance Friday in the North End as part of the St. Joseph Festa.
“I first saw Rota Temporis in performance while visiting our sister city, Gaeta, and I knew that Somerville audiences would go crazy for them, so I encouraged them to come for ArtBeat. They’ve been stealing the show everywhere they go, so be sure to catch them if you can.”
