Hello LJers!

This very sweet 6-month-old grey and white female kitten wandered into Hub Comics on July 8. She followed our guy Lou in from the roast beef shop around the corner.

My wife, son, dog, and other two cats have had her at home (segregated from the other animals) for almost three weeks now.

Someone please claim her! :)

LOL.
Actually, if I could have another cat in my apartment, I would. Persuming, you know, also, his owners never collected him.

You laugh, but it's hard for them to hold the razor without opposable thumbs.

That means it's only partly evil.

I have a cat with an offset spot - except in her case it's a little triangle that sort of misses her nose. I always figured it was because she moved when she was in the spray booth getting her decoration. (OR the genetic code for little calico cats is slowly getting out of alignment..)

This cat looks like she might be part snowshoe siamese. Their breed has asymmetrical face markings and they are very often described as "sweet" since they are extremely people oriented. In fact, I have one and he's great! :-)

...You found a cat who prefers comics to roast beef? Wow. There's a special kitty.

Unfortunately, she's not my kitty. Do you think she's feral? What has been done (besides this post) to unite her with her people? I would be happy to help you out if you need it.

Have you contacted the local veterinary clinics, police stations, and shelters? I know that's where a lot of people look when their kitty goes missing... :(

They'll also be able to tell you if she'd been chipped.

You could also try contacting the Kitty Connection to see if anyone's looked for her there. 781-393-9995 is their number; you'll most likely talk to a woman named Marie. They might be able to take her in if her owners don't show up. They're a great organization in general; I got my sweet little Dart from them.

If you don't find her owners or a home for her, I'd be open to trying her with my other kitty and seeing if they get along; feel free to send me a message.

Please call animal control to at least have her checked for a chip. I know my cat rips off any collar I put on her so I rely heavily on the chip she has -- but it only works if someone looks for it.

This is a total shot in the dark, but I saw a woman posting a lost cat sign on a telephone pole on the southeast corner of the intersection of Willow Ave and Morrison Ave yesterday afternoon. I was in my car so I couldn't see it well so I don't have any more details.
