"We come from Ratsylvania, where we would dance, play music, fight, strip off all our clothes, blacksmith, and generally carry on without work of a mundane sort. A few of us decided to venture away from our past haven and found ourselves traveling dusty freight cars through a strange God-soaked place called the U.$.A.. About the music: Some of it we find at campfires when we travel around, some we buy on the black market in exchange for moonshine, some we discover in our dreams about life back in Ratsylvania. "

Oh THAT'S what that music was on my walk home. I found it to be a delightful, surreal addition to my daily commute.

we have only one bathroom, so we're unlikely to publish the location. keeping it under 50 people is really key; we had about 30 tonight with little notice, so that really is a concern.

It's standard practice for house concerts to only give the address to people who RSVP, and to have a ceiling on how many RSVP's they'll accept.

Just an FYI in case you plan to have another event in the future........I don't believe it's legal to charge an admission fee without first obtaining a city permit. If a neighbor complains about the noise, the police will come to ask you to keep it down, if they find that you're charging an admission fee, your concert will end abruptly.

you are quite correct about this, which is why rather than a door charge we politely encouraged people to give a small donation to the band.
