On 8/2 I am closing on a 2-family house with mud_puppy and another couple. Usable space in the basement means we're able to rent the second bedroom in our 1st floor unit, so we're looking for a roommate! Rent would be $625/mo plus share of utilities, available 9/1. Move-in date flexible.

mud_puppy and I are a geeky, crafty, and sane household. We spend a lot of time at home, so a friendly, mutually supportive roommate relationship will be very important to us. We are friendly to all lifestyles.

The house is on Prichard Ave, which is east of Davis Square near the bike path and Ball Square. Walk to T is ~10 min. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly.

We have large living and dining rooms, good front and back porches, and a kitchen that we'll be remodelling in the first year. Washer/dryer and dishwasher in unit. Your bedroom would be 11' x 12' with a good closet.

We have a sweet, goofy cat. One more cat would be okay if he gets along with ours, but no other furry pets. No smoking or drug use on the premises.

The house is in very good condition. Windows are all new. We'll be adding outlets to every room before we move in (service is already 200 Amps). There will be high-speed internet for the whole building.

We'll be needing more furniture (esp couches), so if you have good common area stuff, we have room for it.
