Anyone in the area have a Razr charger they don't need that they can give (or reallllly cheaply sell) to a poor barista? I need to sell my Sidekick and I have a Razr but the charger is no where to be found.

Any standard USB charger will work with the RAZR. You can even plug it into a computer using a regular USB cable (You may need special software to get your computer to recognize the phone; you can find it for free if you google though).

I just tried this with my computer since I don't have a USB charger and it charged for a little while but it won't turn on and charge at the same time and it keeps turning on every time I plug it in, thus it won't charge.

Sounds like a whole bunch of stuff is going on with that phone. I had a Razr for 2 years gradually watched my battery lose the ability to hold a charge for more than a few hours, could that be your issue?

Prior to that, I was able to use the usb cable for my canon digital camera (with one small side/one standard size)right into my usb port on my computer and charge the phone on a regular basis w/o issue. I take it you don't have that chord though?

FYI, I bought a travel charger for the Razr for like $10 at a store like CVS or a Convenience Store though, its really not that much $ even at a place that seems as if it would overcharge. Just incase no one can hook you up on here.

Similarly, I bought my current charger on eBay for $6 and it's never given me a problem. The phone's built-in electronics should prevent overcharging.

nope I have the cord, the phone is fine, its fairly new. idk what the deal is.

Does it use the same plug as the motorola v360? (I think it does, especially given the USB comment above.) We just had two of those in our household and got rid of 'em, and we might still have the chargers around here somewhere. Lemme look....
