Free Stuff

I am moving soon to a very small apartment and have some free things to get rid of - most importantly a couch. Let me know if you are interested asap. Items would need to be picked up today or tomorrow. pics and descriptions of everything can be found here:   http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/zip/791819902.html Anything I don't get rid of is headed to salvation army ...except the couch - I don't have a way to get it there but it's in good shape so I don't want to leave it on the curb either. You can definitely have the cat stuff. What time could you pick them up? I got a craigslist response to the floor lamps so if you aren't sure I'll let them have them.

I'm completing a CL sale of my own around 6:30 tomorrow, but I could drive over after that... it would take me about a half hour to get to your part of Medford (I'm in Winthrop), so like 7:10-7:30ish, depending on traffic? If you want to email me your address so that I can Google Map/GPS it, I'm at lioness396 AT gmail DOT com.
You can let the other person have the floor lamps... I wouldn't know if I wanted them until after I looked at them, and I can't ask you to hold something I'm not sure about.

Please consider donating to Goodwill rather than Salvation Army. The latter organization does plenty of good work, but has a troubling history of discrimination against gay people. Thanks.

Thanks for posting this. While I feel people are entitled to their beliefs, I don't need to support them with my goods, time, services or money. I feel the same way about the boyscouts and have been given grief about this view because "they do good".
