we have two 4'x8' pieces of blueboard/drywall plus some scraps left over from a home renovation project. it's yours free, available for pick it up at our place (near tufts) or we can drop it off if you happen to live near davis.

it will go in the trash on thursday morning unless we can find a new home for it. please email lmc00@livejournal.com if interested. thanks!

(Update: the drywall has been claimed. Thanks!)

would you consider recycling it?

If you don't find a taker-
A huge company just set up shop right next door in Cambridge - Gypsum Recycling America LLC. Right now, they only take 'new' scraps of drywall (not demolition waste)), but it sounds like what you have.

Gypsum board (drywall) can be recycled to gypsum board without a decrease in quality! Its is really bad when it sits in a landfill, it actually causes nasty chemical reactions when it breaks down. I just learned all about this a few weeks back.

Not trying to preach, just spread some knowledge.
