Hi, I'm starting grad school at Tufts next week and my hair is looking a mess. Does anyone have a black hair salon they can recommend? Everyone knows word of mouth is best when it comes to hair. Thanks!!

I remember another in East Somerville, close to Sullivan. I believe there's also one on Highland, up a bit from Davis, but I don't remember the name (I do remember it was a beauty supply store as well).
Good luck!

She's white, which made me nervous, but she has worked in black beauty shops around town, attends black hair shows and does a fantastic job cutting my natural hair. I assume she does straightened hair as well. I know she does a great job cutting curly and straight white hair. However, I don't think she does relaxers.
