Date: Saturday, September 6 (Rain/no-sun date: Sunday September 7)
Time: 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (includes a short break for lunch)
Members: $45 plus $10 materials fee
Non-Members: $55 plus $10 materials fee
Materials include: chemistry, paper,contact printing setup, and an info/resource handout to take home.
Class size: Limited to 8 people
Learn the vintage photographic printing method of cyanotype (sometimes called "sun printing"). Cyanotype, one of the oldest hand-applied photo-printing methods, can be easily used to create wonderful Prussian blue color images, by simply exposing a sensitized print to sunlight.

Date: 2008-09-03 03:46 pm (UTC)I know the community of members has asked for a silkscreening station to be set up at one of our locations, and it looks like we'll be doing that. I think one of the goals is to be able to print T shirts efficiently in the workspace.
If you missed the last info session about the expansion, there's another one tonight at 7:00, and everyone is welcome.
