Thank you both. :) I actually stopped at The Dairy Bar at your suggestion-- had been there for cupcakes once, but hadn't really been in the adjacent part. And When Pigs Fly bakery is fantastic-- ah! I think I'll enjoy living around here!
The Whole Foods at Alewife (and possibly others) sells milk in returnable glass bottles. I got cream that way once or twice. It was unbelievably delicious, but I found dealing with bottles to be more hassle than I wanted--they weren't resealable, and I don't go through that much cream at once.
