I figured I'd post the new fliers I got in the mail from the two campaigns. People are still commenting on the last one, so if you'd like to see it, it's visible here.
I think seeing that as a contradiction is a logical fallacy. It's similar to seeing a contradiction in people supporting getting something funded by income tax revenue, but when offerred a check-off to contribute a bit extra on their taxes to fund the same thing, not checking it. The point of taxes is that they should apply to everyone in a fair distribution; just because you support equitable funding from the general population (yourself included) for something doesn't necessarily mean you support funding it by having you pay when other people don't have to. Similarly, just because you support term limits for all elected officials of a certain kind, doesn't mean you necessarily support limiting the terms of specific elected officials when others aren't so limited - such as wanting to limit the term of your Senator when other states' Senators won't be limited. Some things are qualitatively different when universal, and you can support universal application of a rule while not supporting ad-hoc application of the same rule to only certain cases, without any logical inconsistency.
