looking for a good house painter/carpenter

Does anyone know a good, reliable and affordable house painter/carpenter? My wife and I need some work done on our house to spiff it up for our new baby. Thanks in advance for the tips!

Good and reliable certainly, and reasonably priced. They've done both painting and carpentry (roof replacement, insulation, minor repairs) for us on a couple of occasions.

Thanks wallacestreet! We have some painting to do inside as well as a decision to make about keeping or removing some ancient horsehair plaster and lath. We're concerned about the lead paint issue with the baby.
