Saturday, September 13: Somerville Moped and Scooter Rally, 6-10 pm in Union Square plaza. This event includes live music and short films.

Sunday, September 14: Union Square Walking Tour, starts at 2 pm in Union Square plaza.

Sunday, September 14: Sri Lankan Drummers at the Community Growing Center, 22 Vinal Ave, 5-6 pm.   This event has already been postponed once because of rain, and could be again.  Check the growing center's calendar to be sure.

Hi, Ron Newman! It was nice to meet you at the meet up last night!

I would message you, but I'm an LJ idiot, and don't see the option. Regardless... I meant to ask you last night, did you go to the Jimmy Wales/Chris Lydon talk at Suffolk last night? I tried to go, but was burdened with car in a parkingless area during a Sept 11 memorial parade. SO I gave up and went to the meet-up earlier than I intended.

ANYway, if you did make it to the talk, I'd love to know how it was, please! Message me here, if you can figure out how it works.

No, I went to the Somerville 9/11 memorial parade (the same one you got caught in?), and then later to the meetup. I prefer that people send me e-mail instead of using the LJ messaging system. My e-mail address is on my profile page.
