Another local outdoor event I just found out about:
St. Sava's Serbian Orthodox Church is having its third annual Serbian Festival this weekend, today from noon to 10 pm and tomorrow from noon to 6 pm. Their website says the event "will feature Serbian grilled specialties and sweets, Serbian folk dancing, a live band and singers, cultural souvenirs, and games for kids. " Here's a live performance schedule.
St. Sava's is on Route 16 at the Cambridge-Somerville line, a short walk up from Mass. Ave. or down Victoria Street from Broadway.
I've never been to this, but it sounds similar in style to the various local Greek festivals. Hat-tip to the Somerville Journal blog for noticing this event.
