moving to the area; looking for off-street parking

my husband and i are moving back to the davis sq. area, but the apartment we're moving into doesn't come with off-street parking. i'm looking for parking for one compact car, at least for the winter (December through March), in the near vicinity of Willow and Highland (5-10 minute walk max). if you have a vacant driveway I could use, or know of garaging options in the area, i'd love to hear about them. I'm willing to pay $$; talk to me about what your rates are.

When I needed parking at an old apartment in Davis, I found one pretty quickly via Craigslist. You might check there (http://boston.craigslist.org/search/prk?query=davis&minAsk=min&maxAsk=max).

It's pretty much the only way you'll find parking otherwise.

Not true. You can always set a random car on fire and after the fire's out and they tow the smoking wreckage, there's a space available.

I was walking down Cherry St into Porter Square on Saturday and I think the there was sign in the yard of one the place about garage space available. Same side of the street as your old place, but closer to Elm.
