Granted a tad, bit outside of Davis, but alas...

Grand is hosting a fundraiser for Barack Obama and you’re invited! The event will be held at Grand on the evening of Tuesday, October 7th from 6PM-8PM.

Is there a plan for people to go somewhere after the event ends to watch the debate, which starts at 9?

That's between you and lord. And Obama. But seriously I would assume that any of the local bars like Precinct and Independent would be showing. I know that the Precinct has hosted a number of Obama related events...
