Hey kids,
I know there's stuff in the memories and I am looking that over but want some extra info too, so!:

After a month of semi-rough traveling my back/neck/shoulders are a big twisted mess. I need a massage something fierce.

*and*

None of my pants fit! I need a tailor, particularly one decent with designer jeans.

In neither case is cost a huge concern. Being near the red line in camberville would be nice.

Massage Therapy Works in Davis is popular 'round these parts, and I can put in a recommendation for Boris. If you let him, he'll do a fun combination of stretches, myofascial release and minor physical therapy exercises to work out the kinks in your back.

Second on Boris, he probably gave me the best massage I've ever gotten and I'm a bit of a connoisseur as I have chronic back pain. He did stretches to give me better movement in my arms and was not afraid to give me a lot of pressure checking in to make sure it wasn't too much.

I recommend Aveda in Harvard- ask for Jenny
she did *wonders* for my neck and back this past summer.

Check previous entries, as massage has been discussed before. But you can do both simultaneously in Davis Square - http://www.davissquaremassage.com/ on one side of the street, and the woman who looks like she airlifted her store from Brooklyn on the other side.

(Full Disclosure: I know dsm personally.)

For jeans, I recommend going to Newbury Tailoring Company. They're great about keeping denim from getting that awkward altered look that is common with most tailors. They aren't cheap, but they're totally worth it!

Do you know if they could tighten up the waistband on a pair of dress slacks?

I would assume so! They do all kinds of tailoring, and tightening a waistband should be pretty simple for them.

for tailoring: definitely use Roy at Rite-Way cleaners, between harvard and porter. just around the corner from starbucks and that new hipster salon. he's fantastic and alters all of my clothes.

Not trying to snark, but is "just around the corner from Starbucks" really a useful part of directions?

Ok, so I am trying to snark, but just a little B-)

I share an office with a woman who does massage near Davis, at the intersection of Highland and Cherry Street. Her name is Cee, and she does wonderful work. Let me know if you want her contact info.
