please help defeat anti-gay rep vinny ciampa

In two short months, voters in Somerville and Medford will choose whether or not to send anti-gay Representative Vinny Ciampa back to the State House.  You can help make sure they do not!

Carl Sciortino, a talented gay candidate, is running a strong campaign to unseat Ciampa in the Democratic primary on September 14.  However, he needs many more volunteers to assist him if he is going to win.   

Join Carl and his campaign staff this Saturday, July 10, for a special volunteer orientation. Learn about what the campaign needs (walking door-to-door and making phone calls primarily), and meet other like-minded volunteers and Carl’s dedicated and terrific campaign staff.  You then have the option of joining a group to go to work knocking on doors!

Directions to campaign headquarters: From Davis Square T, Walk up Holland Street (away from Davis Square) until you hit Cameron Ave. Take a left on Cameron. The office is towards the bottom of the street on the left, 78A Cameron Ave. (only a few minute walk in total!)

Could you link to some material to back up your statement that he is anti-gay? (Asking as someone who would like to vote in the primaries when they come 'round, though he didn't see any reference to them until this very post.)

(I am assuming you're not calling him anti-gay just because he's running against a gay guy, ha ha.)
