Solar Workshop this Saturday
Oct. 22nd, 2008 11:00 pmSomerville Climate Action is sponsoring a solar energy workshop hosted by yours truly, Eric Becker, on Saturday October 25th from 10am to Noon. We'll discuss how to harness the sun's energy and federal and state incentives to make Solar Somerville a reality. The economics of solar got a whole lot better earlier this month when the federal tax credit for solar was extended by 8 years and the $2,000 cap lifted. The time has never been better to consider solar for your home.

I am not a solar systems engineer, but we have had both solar PV and solar hot water systems installed on our Somerville home and have learned a great deal in the process.
