Good Car Repair near Washington/Beacon?

I was a loyal Hillside Auto customer while I lived across the street from them, but I've recently moved to the Washington/Beacon intersection (near the Wine & Cheese Cask), and am looking for something closer by. I have a 1991 Volvo. Any recommendations?

I've got a 1998 Volvo and have been going to Metric Systems since Autobon closed and their mechanics went to Metric Systems (in 2003-ish). They do good work, but if your repair isn't an emergency they may schedule you for a day 2-3 weeks later because they're so busy.

i second streetwise. i don't have a car anymore but when i did, it was an old shitty car and the people at streetwise were never rude to me about it and spent a lot of time explaining what was wrong and what stuff needed to be fixed right away and what stuff could wait. you can also check out the cartalk website (cartalk.com) for reviews of local mechanics
