lost pet info

I have a pretty depressing request. Does anyone know if there is a way to get information on whether an animal has been hit on a certain street and possibly picked up by the police etc? Our cat has been missing for 6 days and his collar was found lying on the side of the road...

That's horrible! I don't know the information that you're specifically looking for but what does your cat look like? I'll keep an eye out, there's always hope!
