Passed by the abandoned bake shop tonight while walking on Morrison, and I noticed a Demolition notice. Did anyone else notice this? I completely flaked on the date that was listed though!

No surprise, it's being demolished and turned into condos. I'm near enough the location that I get mailed the city notices about zoning hearings.

Zoning, BTW, is a one-way-valve in a residential area. The donut factory and the former dry cleaner adjacent were grandfathered commercial properties in a residential zone. Once they go out of business for two years, though, the property reverts to residential and the businesses can't reopen. So that odd two-unit condo on Morrison next to the donut factory got remodelled into condos after the dry cleaner had been defunct for two years.

That big gap in the middle used to be part of the building. They chopped out the middle of it and added those two half-size second stories.
