Looking for a mic and a PA system

So, I'm in need of a decent monitor and microphone for a band that I'm practicing with, and I'd rather not break the bank in getting them. Can anybody recommend good places around the Boston/Cambridge/Somerville area(bonus points for places around Davis Square, since that's where I live) that I could find some good equipment, or does anybody know someone selling some used equipment that's in good condition?
