Has anyone every listed the local places that hold trivia for each night of the week? I couldn't find one when searching through the archives/tags. If not, we should make one.

More specifically, are there any places tonight (Thursday)?

I used to go to Newtowne Grille on Thursdays fairly regularly, until my usual teammates (and neighbors) moved to Watertown, which is obviously not so convenient. Maybe we should get a davis_square team together!

IDK about tonight, but I know Johnny D's has trivia on Monday nights, Orleans on Wednesday nights, Red Line in Harvard is either Tuesday or Thursday (I can't remember which), and Thirsty Scholar in Inman is Sunday nights.

does anyone know what the age policies of these bars are for trivia nights? i'm 20, and i want to go to a trivia night event at a bar somewhere nearby, but i'm wondering if i'll be able to get in. any thoughts?

I think I saw a sign in the Burren for Trivia on Wednesday nights.

davis_square meetup folks who have stayed for the Burren's trivia night have generally given it a thumbs-down. We just haven't found the format very exciting.

The Pub in Ball Square has trivia. I'm thinking Tuesday, but I might be misremembering.

ps - just an update to everyone: i ended up going to the newtowne grille. it was good, fun, etc, just that i literally had to MAKE room at the bar by bringing in chairs from the cafe side of their restaurant. it was packed by quarter of (8).

Newtowne and the Druid both have VERY popular trivia nights - seems to be a great way to fill seats on a weeknight.
