Towels, anyone?

We just ordered all new towels in an attempt to have a grown-up bathroom (and because they were on clearance!). We're going to be putting our old mismatched set out on the curb tonight in a box. They're all pretty worn and in shades of blue, green, and white. Would anyone be interested in them? I mean, they'll do in a pinch in a bathroom, but only if you really desperately need free towels. But I was thinking more along the lines of a painting drop-cloth, or as packing supplies, or to recycle into any number of other things. I'll be putting them outside, but if you let me know you want them, I can bring them back in for you.

Yes, I can get them to St. Meow's no-kill shelter (they're only open to the public Thursday evenings) BUT I'll be poulet decapitee until Tuesday. If it would be just as easy for you, they're open Thursdays 6 pm to 8 pm at the First Church of Somerville, 89 College Avenue, Davis Square. Entrance is located on Francesca Street.

BUT if you don't mind hanging onto them until Tuesday, where are you?

That would be perfect! As a kitty mama myself, that's exactly what I was hoping for. I don't mind hanging onto them until Tuesday. I'd say I'd drop them off next Thursday, but it's Thanksgiving. Since we'll be having guests, I'd like to remove as much clutter as possible. I'm at 19 Burnham St., near the rotary. Shall I just leave them on the porch Tuesday morning?

Yeah, that'll work! I might not come for them until evening, but If i space entirely, please ping me a reminder.

Now that I think of it, St. M's is probably closed Thursday too, but I can bring them the following week. Wouldn't keep the kitties away from their turkey!

I can drop them at Pets In Need, a no-kill cat shelter down by McGrath. You could leave a bag on my porch, or I could swing by yours (if you have a porch) and pick them up. Drop me a line at my lj email if you want to work this out.
