davis_squareDecember Salon at the Nave Gallery, December 4-7 and 11-14; 1-5 pm weekends, 6-8pm weekdays, with varying performers.
Somerville Community Chorus concert, Sunday 12/7, 3 pm, First Congregational Church, 89 College Ave. Suggested donation is $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and $6 for children under 18 and parents of Somerville High School singers.
West Somerville Illuminations Walking & Caroling Tour, Saturday 12/13. Free. Meet at 6 pm at JP Licks. Tour takes about an hour and ends at the Nave Gallery December Salon.
The Slutcracker, Fri-Sun 12/12-14, Somerville Theatre.
Comicazi-Con and Bad-Ass Christmas Bazaar, Sunday 12/14, 9-3, Dilboy VFW, $3.
Chandler Travis Philharmonic's Christmas Cavalcade for the Homeless, Thursday 12/18, 8:30 pm, Johnny D's. Suggested donation $15. Guest musicians include Livingston Taylor, Jennifer Kimball and Ry Cavanaugh, the Greenheads, Ryan Landry, Merrie Amsterberg, Shaun Wortis, Jenny Dee and the Deelinquents, Greg Greenway, Sal Baglio, Rose Polenzani, the Philharmonic Trombone Shout Band, the Jessica Schroeder Dancers, and the Athol Thingerth.
