Cheap Cranberries?

Does anyone know who has the cheapest cranberries around? I've been going nuts with them, but at $2.49 per 12oz bag*, it can get expensive. Have any of y'all found 'em cheaper? Where? I know we're in the last throes of being able to find them fresh, so I'd like to stock up.

(*Whole Foods also had 1 lb containers for the discount price of $4.99. !?!)

I saw large bags of them at BJ's in Everett for $6.99. I think they were gallon bags, or maybe they were two pounds. This was a week or two ago.

Russo's in Watertown has 12oz bags for 1.99 or bulk bins for 1.98/lb.

I was there today, and they did have 12oz bags for 1.98, but sadly, no bulk bins. (And oddly, nobody I talked to could even remember having them.)

Neat place, though. I left with a fair bit of stuff. :]

They had them yesterday, but the bins were at the end of their contents. Perhaps, yesterday was the last day. I agree, Russo's is wonderful.

(I suppose there's the off chance they might still get them back, but it's way too far out of my way to check regularly in person. Maybe I'll call in a couple of days.)

How much are they at Market Basket? I've found it's safe to assume it's the cheapest place for almost any of the things they carry.
