Please note the following snow emergency update:
With forecasts calling for more snow starting Sunday morning, the City's snow emergency will remain in effect at least through Sunday night, December 21st. Cars parked on the even side of the street remain subject to ticketing and towing. Drivers are reminded that they must NOT park within twenty feet of intersections, obstruct the street, block hydrants or handicapped spaces, or violate resident permit parking. Residents and businesses are reminded that they are required to remove snow and ice from their sidewalks. Parking meter rules in city lots or on the odd side of the street are NOT in effect, and residents may continue to park in designated city and school lots until the snow emergency is lifted. Please also note that the City's Illuminations Tours will proceed this evening as scheduled. Thanks to all those who are assisting the city by keeping roads and sidewalks passable during this snow emergency. For additional information, please visit the City's website or call 311.
