One of my trolleys was mooned on Houghton St, but I am thusfar unaware of any photographic evidence.
Since the snow emergency was still in effect, the roads were way more passable than in years when there's been snow on the ground with cars parked on both sides of the street.
Tom Champion was a surprise leader on 7:30 trolley A! We sang carols along with some guitarist named Jimmy. It was pretty amazing. I want to press a Christmas CD called, "Tom Champion Sings!"
Was that Jimmy Del Ponte who writes On the Silly Side column for the Somerville News? He came up to our desk at some point and said he'd be guiding or co-guiding one of the trolleys.
The trolleys seemed to stay much more on schedule this year than in previous years, at least for the first part of the evening. When our 7:30 trolley returned to City Hall, the 8:15 trolleys were still there, so for a while there were 6 trolleys lined up in a row.
Our trolley got separated from the other 2 by a Red Light at one point then drove like a maniac to catch up... it was a bit scary in that trolley on the snowy roads. But being mooned and all the pretty lights made up for it.
I was at the 8:45 trolley A with Tom Champion, and he's got a pretty good voice! I really liked the tour. I uploaded some photos on my flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/32553323@N02/.
