Anyone want to take over a Healthworks Membership?

Hi there,

Sorry to spam the list a bit, but I was hoping I could find someone to take over my Healthworks membership. I've moved out of the neighborhood and am switching to a closer gym, but apparently I'm not far enough away that Healthworks will let me give it up without the 60 day notice.

So, if anyone was thinking of joining Healthworks this year, I can give you my transfer form, which will let you sign up and avoid the activation fee they usually charge. I'm still in Davis once in a while to hang at Diesel, so I'd be happy to meet up with anyone who's interested in it there. Email dani0720 at gmail or respond to this post and I'll make arrangements to meet up.

edit: forgot to mention it's a women-only gym. A really good one, but still women-only.

$91/month, but it includes a BUNCH of classes, including bellydance and yoga; they also have a giant whirlpool, steam room and sauna, really nice showers, and a great locker room. I think you can also make the membership cheaper if you want to get the restricted hours membership.

HW is still a women's only gym though, as far as I know. It's one of the main reasons I joined it. Not everyone may know that so it might be worth mentioning. Unless they've changed that within the last couple of months...it's been that long since I've been. I know...bad girl!

I will say though, that hands down...it is one of the cleanest gyms I've been to. I get a little prissy about public showers but I have no issue showering at HW.

the showers are one of the things I enjoyed about it as well - and the fact that, since they've been going green, they use the orange-scented cleaner for the equipment instead of the bleachy stuff (which always makes my throat itch).
