Does anyone know of a liquor store nearby that sells Advocaat? I am thinking we may stay in tonight and I plan to make some holiday cocktails :)

Ball Square Wines might. Give them a call -- they can look up whether they have it.

Short of that, it looks like it would be fairly easy to make your own. I saw recipes on Google.

I know Kappys out in Alewife has it; Downtown Wine & Spirits has lots of stuff but I don't know if that's in their list.

Downtown has carried it before but doesnt have any. Kappys does have 2 bottles left, on my way to pick one up. Thank you very much :)

Good to hear. I would have considered Fresh Pond Liquors (across Route 16, next to Whole Foods) first; next to Marty's in Newton and to a lesser extent our friends in Ball Square, they seem to bring the noise as far as I'm concerned (i.e. harder-to-find bourbons and rye whiskeys...)
