Tufts Pool
Jan. 4th, 2009 02:44 pmI've searched through the memories, and the numbers to call on the Medford City Hall website were disconnected. I'm a new Medford resident, and wanted to take advantage of the Tufts Pool.
Does anyone know the phone number to call in reference to getting a membership to the Tufts Pool? Or when I can go there to get a ID?
Thanks!

Date: 2009-01-05 04:35 am (UTC)For the pond, you need to bring your car registration and $25. It's a good deal. There are paths to walk on, a fairly clean beach, lifeguards whenever it's open, changing rooms and bathroom, and a place to get burgers and ice cream. Not many people take advantage of it, and so it's sort of a hidden treasure. I drop by for a half hour swim after work, since they are open until 1/2 hour before dusk.
Medford Town Hall is open until 7:30 pm on Wednesdays, which is nice.
