Half-Time Web Developer Position - City of Somerville

This person will build out the City's website. We hope to use our website in the most innovative ways possible, including ways that promote on-line transactions and build community in Somerville. We need, however, a technical expert to help execute this vision.

The job might be perfect for someone (especially a Somerville resident!) doing contract work already or who has children at home part-time. I hope you will apply or forward the position to friends!

Had the required skills. Or perhaps the problem is that this job requires actual work and some knowledge. Also possible that this job has already been filled by somebody's cousin and by law they need to appear like they are doing a search.

Word on the "actual work and some knowledge". How hard can it be to fix the search function which is badly needed as it's impossible to find stuff on that site. Then, they need someone with good IA skills to overhaul the site to make it usable before adding new "innovative ways".

What is IA?
