Failure of just-in-time grocery shopping

The Dairy Bar at Kick*ss Cupcakes didn't get their delivery from the farm today, so they're out of eggs and nearly out of milk.

Similarly, When Pigs Fly is closed today; presumably the truck didn't come from Maine.

(Lucky for me my dinner plan was "just use up the stuff in the house and add eggs". It's now "just use up the stuff in the house and add tofu." )

I recently added diced, sauteed tofu to stove-top stuffing (as well as apple, celery, mushroom, and onion). Awesome.

Farmers' Bounty carries organic eggs (I don't recall how local they are, but at least the store is close by).
