Not Davis Square, but I figured this opportunity in Cambridge would be of interest to some : )
Share's global mission is to bring both the technorati and the technically-curious together in celebration of extemporaneous audio and visual experimentation through collaboration.
Share:Cambridge is launching the second series of Share.tv, a show exploring the more left-field topics in contemporary art, with a honed eye towards video, electronic music, and new interfaces for audio/visual expression. Share.tv wants to feature cutting-edge performance-based artists working in digital performance and experimental media for a series of televised and online episodes starting March 13th, 2009. We are looking for artwork that revolves around one of the following themes:

- Acoustic(s)
- Cartography
- Timewarp
- The Object Lesson
- Internationale
Selected artists will be interviewed about their work and their process, and tape an episode of Share.tv in which they perform the chosen piece of work. Artists should be able to travel to our Cambridge, MA studio for the performance.
Artists should project proposal for a piece to be performed on Share.tv in accordance with one of the aforementioned themes, along with a current resume, artist's statement, and 3-5 digital images of your work (or link to online portfolio). Submissions should be emailed to share@hotsocieties.com by Friday, February 6th at 6 p.m. to be considered.
