I refuse to believe someone who creates a Livejournal sock puppet for the purposes of defending a selfish town custom would ever have the balls to touch another person's vehicle.

You nailed the word- selfish.

It's just that we differ as to who is the selfish one- the person who spent several hours carving out a parking spot, or the person who thinks they are perfectly within their rights to take this spot.
