I need it for a play, so it doesn't have to be a tasty watermelon (Which I think would be impossible to find off season)

Yes it is. I don't know for certain if that location has the mini-watermelons, but I know they did this past Saturday at the one in Brighton.

Whole Foods in Fresh Pond, probably other locations. I couldn't swear that they had whole ones (instead of halves) on the shelf, but they must have some not-yet-halved ones in a back room waiting their turn.
