Boston Cream Pie

Where around Davis can I get a really good Boston Cream Pie? A whole one, not just a slice! I don't want to get crazy expensive, but I want to show some out-of-town friends a true delicious Boston treat.

I have a car, so driving distance to a nearby town isn't a problem.

Don't know the name of the place, but there's an awesome bakery in Ball Square across from Stinky's. I've had other stuff there. I bet they do an incredible Boston Creme Pie.

Lyndell's Bakery is what you're thinking of, and I agree, they are excellent. You can get both a full size and an individual size Boston Cream Pie there.

Well, it's not Davis, but if you take the Red Line to Park Street and walk up Tremont Street towards Government Center, you will find The Omni Parker House which invented the Boston Creme Pie. I'll bet they sell whole pies.

Seconded. My mother once got me some fancy one for my birthday and I was so disappointed because I really prefer the ones just from the grocery store.

Yes, and they also have a location between Central and Harvard. They're AWESOME, but I'd call and see if it's one of their pies of the day, since they rotate.
