parking in different zones?

hello peoples,
not a lot of time and one semi-urgent question so sorry if this has been answered before.  for people with knowledge of cambridge parking rules and whatnot - if a friend from another zone is letting me borrow a car for the weekend (she's got a valid street parking sticker), will i get a ticket for parking it on my street?  i'm pretty sure my zone is different but also don't know where to get a map of all the zones.  i haven't had time to go get a new visitor's parking pass to stick in the window and the need for a car just came up.  and city hall's closed for the day.  any thoughts?  i'd hate to get any tickets on the car, as it would negate the benefits of borrowing the car in the first place.

please let me know if you know/can point me to any resource that would answer the question.

my bad, i must have not been clear - i live in cambridge and said borrowed car is registered in cambridge. i just know a lot of people on this community live on the cambridge side, so i thought i'd ask here.

If the car has a valid Cambridge parking permit sticker, then you can park anywhere in Cambridge regardless of zone. The zones are applicable only to the visitor's parking passes.

great, even overnight? i mean, i'm gonna move at least every 48hrs just to safe, but REALLY can't deal with getting a parking ticket right now.

Cambridge resident here saying you can park anywhere in Cambridge with a valid resident sticker. No worries.

A car with a Cambridge sticker doesn't have to be moved every 48 hours. In a permit-only space, it can stay there until the next street cleaning day (which will be in April), or snow emergency if it happens to be a posted snow emergency street (which most small streets aren't).

(Cars using a Cambridge visitor permit have to be moved every 24 hours.)
