8:15-8:30 Crime Update and Som|Dog Group

-Structure of DSTF going forward including visioning
-Group updates including Local First, DARBI, Business Interest Group
-Brief discussion of HUD plan

"Michele Biscoe about her idea of dog owners being helpful"

Does that mean not standing on one side of the bike path, having your dog's leash extend all the way to the other side, and clotheslining everyone who tries to use the path? Because that would be helpful.

I believe what she plans to talk about is recruiting dog walkers to be part of an informal crime watch.

I'll try to post some informal notes later this week. Lee Auspitz took formal minutes but I don't know when he'll have them available. Until then, read this Somerville News article about the meeting.
