Date: 2009-02-22 07:27 pm (UTC)Again, though, there is the unavoidable reality that the cost of oil WILL go up again eventually. No matter how you redistribute it the money, the net result in the short term is that having the government gradually increase the tax on fuel will help soften the blow for people at all ends of the income spectrum.
